Summer house update:Despite the damp weather over recent days, the progress continues. As I type the roofing structure is being installed & electrics are being routed to the building. Walling has gone into place near the entrance & will form the base for a timber structure which shall support the entrance ramp to the building.
It really is coming together now, & is close to water tight, which isn't a bad thing considering the winter rain that is forecast. Volunteers have worked extremely hard, moving barrow loads of materials up & down from the work area. Selecting bricks, mixing concrete & mortar, cleaning timber, & trench digging for services. Finally, we can see the 'Chicken Palace' re-forming into its original, beautiful self.
