Well it has been all hands on deck this week to prepare for this coming weekends Apple Weekend. An event to celebrate the apples that have been grown throughout the plots here at Hill Close Gardens. We shall again have a large number of varieties on display in the glasshouse, where you can see the enormous variety between the different culinary & dessert apples.There will be craft stalls selling a range of products, a fruit expert to help identify your apples, & refreshments will be served in the welcoming visitor centre. The summerhouses will be open throughout the gardens, & the volunteers will be in to chat about the work we do on behalf of the charity to keep the gardens open & flourishing.
Do try & pop in if you can, we shall be open from 11 to 5, Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th October.
